A foggy day at Estes Park in Colorado, this painting had a special peacefulness to it from the very beginning. There is also a limited edition giclee print available for this painting.

'They' say not to put fences in front of paintings, because you want the viewer to have access to the scene. To me, I could sit on a rock, put my feet up on this fence, and watch this view all day...or until the storm arrived. A limited edition giclee printing is available for this painting.

These are limited edition (500, signed and numbered) lithographs of a painting I did of an actual petroglyph located in southern New Mexico.

This was a commissioned painting that I did for some friends. It took a long time to finish, but it turned out to be one of my favorites. I love the mist, and the way the red rock stands out against the vegetation.

The photo for this painting was taken from our yard in the summer time, right at dusk. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the tops of the yuccas. The Floridas, a mountain range 60 miles away, can be seen in the background.

This was one of my favorite paintings to work on, and it remains one of my top five paintings of all time. This is a Giclee, a reproduction of the original on canvas.

The title 'Solitude,' for this painting of Monument Valley in Utah, came from the effect that the piece seems to have on the viewer; almost as if it is just you and the vast landscape.

This is an unusual painting for me, but I loved the way the aspen trunks create an almost abstract background for the solitary green tree.

I woke up to this view just this past December. The peaceful winter morning already looked like a painting....a wonderfully beautiful moment.

This painting was taken from our courtyard....one of our breathtaking New Mexico sunsets. Is it any wonder this is the Land of Enchantment?

My first trip to the Tetons, and I was in awe of the surroundings. The mountains, the water, it was just beautiful.

My grandfather was a watercolorist and did a very similar painting that always enthralled me. Working on this reminded me of that painting from so long ago.

Hiking in the Gila Forest, surrounded by these beauties. Couldn't help but be in awe of that stark white trunk against the brilliant blue of the sky. One of these trees HAD to be a painting.

I fell in love with this farmstead shortly after moving to Bozeman. So serene.
